Our professional plumbing experts also provide maintenance of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs), a broad range of plumbing and water system repairs and mains injection and pipework chlorination.

• Professional Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) servicing and maintenance includes:
  • temperature monitoring and safety testing for reliable temperature control of water feeding showers, bath and taps,
  • cleaning and disinfection of components for water quality,
  • ensuring correct operation of failsafe mechanisms to protect those using the water,
  • reviewing all valves to ensure that correct specification valves have been installed and,
  • record keeping of all servicing and maintenance details.

• Repairs to your plumbing and water system following a legionella risk assessment, monitoring visit, audit or internally identified fault, include:
  • removing lengths of unused pipework,
  • reorienting incorrectly installed expansion vessels,
  • fitting insulation to tanks and piping,
  • rerouting open vents that are discharging into tanks,
  • replacing faulty outlets and valves,
  • installing TMVs, correct backflow protection and simple domestic plumbing systems,
  • repairing water storage tanks and water heaters, as well as larger piping such as sewage and waste piping, dry riser pipes and large diameter pool pump pipes as needed,
• Mains injection and pipe work chlorination to national PD855468 and HSG274 Part 2 (BS 8558:2015) standards, as well as specific water authority regulations, include:
  • disinfecting and pre-commissioning a building’s internal hot- and cold-water domestic systems including all pipework and storage tanks to ensure systems are safe to supply potable water to outlets such as drinking water or showers.
  • flushing and disinfecting the pipework of new mains water supplies at sites or modified water systems, a mandatory requirement by local water authorities, to prevent contamination of the water supply.
  • disinfecting all pipework when microbiological samples provide positive results for harmful pathogens such as legionella or pseudomonas, when there is suspected contamination or when water systems have not been in regular use.
